Location: On the west side of Station Road
Company on opening: Buckinghamshire Railway
Date closed to passengers: 1.1.1968
Date closed completely: 1.1.1968
Company on closing: British Railways (London Midland Region)
Present state: The west bound platform is extant, nothing else remains.
Notes: Launton was a minor station with a short siding an weighbridge on the down side. There was little change at the station over the years with its original low platform surviving until closure in 1967. Old stone sleeper blocks were used for the platform edging. The up platform was of timber construction and quickly demolished after closure.
