Date opened: 2.8.1880
Location: On the east side of an unnamed minor road
Company on opening: London & North Western Railway
Date closed to passengers: 1.1.1968
Date closed completely: 1.1.1968
Company on closing: British Railways (Western Region) Present state: Demolished
Notes: Marsh Gibbon and Poundon was the last station to be built on the Buckinghamshire Railway and despite being some distance from either village it served the station was surprisingly well used. The station had two sidings and cattle pens on the up side of the line. The coal yard at the station continued to be supplied by British Rail (by road) until 1980. Two station houses still survive at the start of the short drive up from the road. Both platforms were quickly demolished with only a long mound indicating the position of the up platform a year after closure. Even this mound has now almost gone.
